February Membership Meeting Plans<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Notwithstanding another surprise Winter ice storm, our scheduled meeting program for February 20th includes a presentation by Janine Belleque from the Oregon State Marine Board on boating access. If time allows, we will also continue with our ongoing plans to present another segment of ODFW\u0019s Steelhead 101 Class. Robert Morton has agreed to cover the \u001cBasic Fishing Gear\u001d and \u001cRods & Reels\u001d portion of the lesson at next Tuesday\u0019s meeting. <\/span><\/p>\n

Sportmen\u0019s Shows are Scheduled for Portland and Salem<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

If you find yourself looking for something to do during all the rain and high water this month, you might want to check out the Sportsmen\u0019s Shows coming to Portland and Salem. The<\/span><\/span> Pacific<\/b><\/span><\/span> Northwest Sportsmen\u0019s Show<\/b><\/span><\/span> is scheduled to be at the Portland Expo Center from February 14th to 18th and the <\/span><\/span>2024 Saltwater Sportsmen\u0019s Show<\/b><\/span><\/span> will be held at the Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center on February 24<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span><\/sup> and 25<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/span><\/sup>. A few more details are listed above.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tualatin Valley Chapter of ANWS to Host Tillamook Area Fish-A-Long Event<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The Tualatin Valley Chapter of the ANWS will be hosting a \u001cFish-A-Long\u001d event in the Tillamook Bay area from March 1 \u0013 3 and have invited other chapters to participate. Their plan is to fish some of the local waters including the Wilson and Nestucca Rivers. At last report, there were still a few spots open. The cost is $70.00 per person and includes meals and two nights of \u001cdormitory style\u001d lodging.
